An epic staring battle awaits the reader in Don’t Blink! Do you think you have what it takes? Surely you’ve been in a staring contest before, so you might very well convince yourself that it would be easy. Don’t be so sure. How long can you hold out? Three pages, ten? Twenty-five? Go ahead, give it a try. “On your mark, get set, go!” Don’t blink!
This book caught my eye for the first time while browsing books in Target. The cover stood out among the rest as the fun-loving girl sat eagerly awaiting someone to challenge. I don’t shy away from a competition and neither will my students. I can’t wait to see how long they will last in a stare down to end all stare downs…well at least until they read the book again. I plan to have an incredible amount of fun reading this to my kids!
