Read by the author with his most awesome accent! Makes me think of how we used to wait for my dad to come back from the grocery store. He knew (and still does know) so many people and could never just leave! He would always have to stop and talk…to everyone. This dad however, comes up with a tall tale that is at once ridiculous & hilarious! You might just fall out of your seat laughing. I know your students will. This makes for a great read aloud!
