Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker by Shelley Johannes

I liked Beatrice and her quirky, upside-down way of looking at the world. She encourages us to be comfortable with ourselves, exactly as we are, without feeling the need to fit inside the limitations of anyone’s box. She is a persistent and faithful friend who will not abort her mission. This is a great book to help students understand the sometimes iffy nature of friendship.
